River maintenance can be started with household waste management, both sorting organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste can be used as compost or ecoenzyme, while inorganic waste, especially plastic waste, can be recycled or reused according to the 3R concept (reuse, reuse, recycle). The ecoenzyme assistance program in Padamukti Village was carried out on July 25, 2022 at the Multipurpose Building of Padamukti Village, Solokanjeruk District, Bandung Regency. This activity was attended by 18 students as the committee and 52 family female organizations in the villages as participants.
This series of socialization events consists of opening and remarks, education on digital literacy materials, ice breaking, education on sorting organic and inorganic waste, education on processing organic waste into woven along with training, games, and closing.

What about unused garbage that must be thrown away? Researchers conduct waste audits to identify the type of waste and the volume of waste produced so that follow-up and recommendations can be known.
In the upcoming year, the Citarum Research Center of Universitas Padjadjaran will continue to establish and foster cooperation with various domestic and foreign institutions and communities to support the Citarum Harum national program which has been running since 2018 and will end in 2025. In addition, the Citarum Research Center wants to help sustain the success of the Citarum Harum Program after the completion of the service period of the Indonesian Army (TNI) spread across various sectors of the Citarum River.
