American Association of Petroleum Geologist (AAPG) Unpad held courses and workshops focusing on oil and gas exploration. Course activity: Carbonate Reservoir will be held on July 2, 2022 via online. In collaboration with external parties, training is provided by instructors who are professionals in geoscience, geoscience alumni, and the oil and gas industry. The participants of this activity amounted to 42 people not only from AAPG Unpad, but also various majors and campuses.

The resource person for this training was Mr. Ngakan Alit Ascaria, senior lecturer from Pertamina University. In this training, carbonate reservoir is discussed starting from the characteristics. There are four carbonate platforms, namely salt-diapir platform, offshore platform, subsiding//passive margin platform, fault-block platform.
