The Research Ethics Committee (KEP) of Universitas Padjadjaran, recently, has received the second recognition from The Strategic Initiative for Developing Capacity in Ethical Review (SIDCER) initiated by the World Health Organization. Universitas Padjadjaran is improving ethical review procedures and increasing the number of researchers with a good basis in research ethics.
Universitas Padjadjaran continues to hold Basic and Advanced Ethics Training to update the management and independent members of the Research Ethics Committee, whose main task is as reviewer. The campus also publishes an Operational Procedure Book (POB) based on operational guidelines issued by the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in the Asian and Western Pacific Region (FERCAP).
During two days, 16-17 January 2023, at the Unpad Training Center (UTC), Jalan Dago No. 4, Bandung, Universitas Padjadjaran Research Ethics Committee (KEP) held Basic Research Ethics Training. This training aims to carry out research commitments based on ethical objectives, methodology and dissemination of results.
