The Rectorate Campus Area of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) Jatinangor already has an On-Grid Solar Power Plant system with a capacity of 92,000 WP using 200 pcs of MonoCrystalline Halfcut Technology 460 WP Panels.
200 canopy solar panels have been installed in the steel construction of the Unpad solar power plant, April 2023.*
The capacity of the solar panels produces a total power production of 350 kWh/day or the equivalent of saving IDR 323,750/day from the monthly State Electricity Company (PLN) bill.
Unpad is committed to always contributing to realising the GoGreen campus. Using new renewable energy from campus solar panels, Unpad has contributed to reducing carbon emissions equivalent to 335 Kg CO2/day, equivalent to planting 18 trees/day.
